I do not carry, nor feel as though my past is a burden.
My past is not the weight of a pile of bricks upon my shoulders.
I feel my past is more like a band of streamers
Following me wherever I go,
Not pulling me back or pushing me down.
But following me, a part of me,
Letting me continue on,
Carry on.
